A business registration address with the Chamber of Commerce (KVK)
When you start a business you will have to register your company with the Chamber of Commerce. In doing so, you will have to provide all kinds of data to the Chamber of Commerce, including the address where your business is located. Especially for if you are self-employed or smaller companies, it can be a problem to register private/residential address data in the Chamber of Commerce Trade Register.
Shielding a residential address at the Chamber of Commerce
The KVK can shield the residential address for self-employed workers, but then you will have to provide another address as your residential address/visit address. For other smaller businesses you can do the same, for example in the case of probable or concrete threats.
NB: If you have a physical business at home (e.g. pedicurist), i.e. at your home address, the KVK will see that as your business address. And that business address is always visible.
For example, if you own a painting company, are a plasterer, or have another business/profession where you mainly work outside the home or are often on the road, a business registration address via Postadres.nl is also a good solution. Your home address remains completely protected and with the registration address we provide you with, you meet all the requirements of the Chamber of Commerce.
